Recently someone got linked on Buzzflash with a list entitled something like "100 Stupidest People in Congress" or something like that (try variations, because that one turns up nothing on Google). So, since that effectively took care of the stupid angle, I figured it was up to me to make a more selective list of the 25 craziest people in all of Congress.Obviously, this is a highly subjective thing and no doubt some will think that one legislator or another had been given short shrift. Consider, however, the usual suspects and be gratified that they made it. Failing that, consider, also, that I'm tired, pissed off, working against a tight deadline (Assclowns of the Week #50 will be the funniest, most savage and massive one ever) and if you criticize my choices, I will eat your face.
So let's take stock of the 25 most spectacularly insane legislators in office today:
